Tire Shreds (≈150mm)

Rough shreds are produced from whole tires and range from 50 to 150 mm in size. Tire shreds contain fiber and steel and can be sold to tire recyclers as feedstock, to cement kilns as tire-derived fuel (TDF) or processed further to obtain wire-free tire chips, crumb rubber and fine rubber powder. The right production capacity will help you save costs.

Tire Chips (≈50mm)

Tire chips are produced from rough tire shreds using the same primary shredder complemented by screening and recirculation equipment. Tire chips of this size can be sold as tire-derived fuel (TDF) or used to produce crumb rubber and fine rubber powder free of metal and textile. To further process the material, you would need to upgrade the line.
