ECO Grater is a secondary tire shredder which efficiently processes scrap tire shreds down to 38-16 mm rubber chips 99% free from steel wire. Its capacity reaches up to 12 metric tons per hour. Powered by a 187 kW electric motor, ECO Grater features increased torque and power, yet slower RPM, which enables to cut material more efficiently while reducing heat during operation.
In full wire-free chips system, ECO Grater comes with complementary material conveyors and steel separation equipment.

Wire-Free Rubber Chips (38-16 mm)
Tire chips free of steel are also referred to as rubber mulch. The material can be used mainly in landscaping and playgrounds instead of conventional mulch. Thorough magnetic separation of steel allows to increase value of the product.

Our secondary tire shredder ECO Grater has a unique rotor and blades design, which leads to low shredder maintenance and energy costs. ECO Grater’s design allows quick access to the cutting chamber, enables easy adjustment and replacement of cutting blades. Forged steel rotor and enclosed double-row spherical bearings ensure long years of reliable operation. In addition, ECO Grater features increased torque and power, yet slower RPM, which cuts material more efficiently while reducing heat during operation.
